Rep. Kurt Bills spoke at Simply Right in Hinckley last April 12. Rep. Bills is an economics teacher from Rosemount running for the United States Senate. We were also joined by Jay McNally from Michigan, who spoke on the Health Care Compact (http://healthcarecompact.org). It is a compact between two or more
states consented to by Congress restoring authority for healthcare
regulation to the states in question. It would leave it to the states to decide what to do
with healthcare, and effectively eliminate the cover that liberal
Republicans might have to grow government with the excuse that "Obama

Simply Right & Future Meetings (Jan. 1, 2012)

You may have heard about Simply Right. The group does primarily two things. To those who attend, it is a social group that serves coffee and facilitates debate among friends and elected officials. To those seeking office, it is a political action committee (PAC) that influences elections. We have been visited by dozens of speakers over the years, from State GOP Chair Tony Sutton to gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer to Congressman Chip Cravaack.
