Officers
Dick Kuzel, Chairman
Dick worked at First National Bank in Pine City for 27 years
before retiring from his position as president in 2007.
Dave Ostenson, Treasurer
Dave Ostenson is an assistant pastor at Faith Baptist Church
in Hinckley and the Director of Faith Baptist Academy.
Russ Troolin, Deputy Treasurer
Russ owned the Pine City Veterinarian Clinic before selling
it and entering retirement in 2007. He currently dabbles in
politics, is an attendee of precinct caucuses and is
currently an alternate delegate with the Pine County
Republicans.
Staff
Rudy Takala, Executive
Director
Rudy has been the Chairman of the Pine County Republicans
since 2007. He handles meeting logistics for all gatherings
of Simply Right. He is also responsible for all
communication with the group's members and with the media.
Unlike the group's legal officers, he has no control over
the organization's finances.
Terry Nord, Member
Relations Representative
As those who regularly attend our meetings already know,
Terry Nord has been playing his electronic keyboard and
pianos at meetings of Simply Right since the group's
inception in 2009. He is responsible for member outreach,
reminding members of meetings, and keeping the group
engaging for its audience.
Dr. Michael Monte, Media
Representative & Guest Coordinator
Dr. Michael Monte is responsible for scheduling speakers at
meetings of Simply Right and for taking inquiries from the
media. Additionally, he is a periodic speaker at Simply
Right events. If you are a member of the media or would like
to speak at an event, you may reach Dr. Monte at

Randy Christensen, Administrative Affairs
Randy is responsible for making sure that the appropriate
paperwork makes it to each meeting. That includes agendas,
applicable legislative action items, applicable book
reviews, applicable speaker biographies/introductions, and
anything else relevant to each meeting.
Advisory Committee
Pat Anderson
Pat served as the Minnesota State Auditor from 2002-2006.
She was also the Minnesota Republican Party's candidate for
state auditor in 2010. Currently, she is pursuing a position
as Minnesota's Republican National Committeewoman.
Representative Steve Drazkowski
Rep. Drazkowski has served in the Minnesota House since
winning former Speaker Steve Sviggum's seat in a special
election in 2007.
Sue Jeffers
Sue unsuccessfully ran for governor in 2006 before getting
her own radio show on KTLK 100.3 FM. She frequents meetings
of Simply Right and sometimes acts as a moderator for the
gatherings.
