Simply Right Guidelines

1)    Simply Right exists to promote small government. More broadly, it exists to promote “people over government.”

2)    Promotion of political parties shall not be permitted except by our monthly speakers.

3)    Promotion of candidates shall not be permitted except by our monthly speakers or at the discretion of the group’s board or staff.

4)    Staff members shall be an informal group approved by the group’s three officers. The group shall have an executive director to be considered a staff member. The executive director shall be responsible for any recruiting of additional staff.

5)    The annual membership fee for the remainder of 2011 is $20. The fee for guests to attend meetings shall be $10. Exceptions may be granted at the discretion of the executive director, but shall be generally limited to first-time attendees.

6)    Requests for memberships may be declined at the discretion of the executive director and/or board.

7)    Members are encouraged to give their own presentations on issues promoting limited government. Interested parties should contact the executive director to ensure time.

8) The list of members and member contact information is private and shall not be shared with outside groups, individuals, political candidates, or political units. Those accessing the list shall be limited to the Executive Director, the Member Relations Representative, and the group's Officers. Speakers may pass out sign-ups for different causes provided it is made clear that is for their personal cause of choice.
